Option 1: Assistant Instructor and ITC separately
 
PURPOSE OF AI:
The purpose of the SSI Assistant Instructor program is to provide candidates with the knowledge and training necessary to perform the duties of an Assistant Instructor. These duties include the completion of Entry Level scuba diving training (Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver) under the supervision of an Open Water Instructor and the completion of the Scuba Skills Update, Try Scuba and perfect buoyancy programs independently.
 
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS:
Medical Certificate, with an antiquity of no more than one (1) year, indicating that the candidate is suitable for diving.
Training documentation CPR and First Aid with no more than two (2) years.
Oxygen Provider training documentation with an age not exceeding two (2) years.
 
PREVIOUS REQUIREMENTS OF THE CANDIDATE:
Minimum age: 18 years.
Must have the Divemaster certification (Dive Guide + Diving Science) or have an equivalent certification from a recognized agency.
A minimum of 60 logged open water dives with a total of 40 hours or more. (75 dives registered with a total of 50 hours or more to be able to issue the certification)
 
DURATION:
Recommended hours to complete the course: 45-55 hours (7 DAYS)
The number of classes, schedules and sessions per day are established by the Instructor Trainer himself, according to the needs and abilities of the students and the water conditions.
 
PRICE: € 695
ITC PURPOSE:
The objective of the Instructor Training Course is to provide candidates with the knowledge and training necessary to organize and conduct diving training courses such as basic diver, Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver. Another objective is to prepare the student to complete a successful Instructor Evaluation (IE)
 

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS:
Medical Certificate, with an antiquity of no more than one (1) year, indicating that the candidate is suitable for diving.
Training documentation CPR and First Aid with no more than two (2) years.
Oxygen Provider training documentation with an age not exceeding two (2) years.



PREVIOUS REQUIREMENTS OF THE CANDIDATE:
Minimum age: 18 years.
Must have Assistant Instructor certification or have an equivalent certification from a reconciled agency.
Must have a Nitrox 40 Enriched Air or equivalent certification.
A minimum of 75 logged open water dives with a total of 50 hours or more. (100 registered dives to be able to issue the certification).
 
DURATION:
Recommended hours to complete the I.T.C. course (option 1): 50-60 hours (8 DAYS + 2 DAYS Exam Instructor)
The number of classes, schedules and sessions per day are established by the Instructor Trainer himself, according to the needs and capacity of the students and the water conditions

Option 2 A.I. + I.T.C. together:
Must have DiveMaster certification or have an equivalent certification from a recognized agency.
A minimum of 60 logged open water dives with a total of 40 hours or more.
 
DURATION:
Recommended hours to complete the course A.I. + I.T.C. (option 2): 95-100 hours (12 DAYS + 2 DAYS Exam Instructor)
